Join Leah Kaplan for this two hour workshop exploring asana on the rope wall!
Developed by Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar, the rope wall is a therapeutic, challenging, and creative way to explore familiar poses, while adding an extra layer of stretch and strength to both body and mind. And it is so, so, so fun.
We’ll use the ropes to:
safely practice standing poses, backbends, inversions and forward bends
hang unencumbered and get all the benefits of being upside down
allow for more exploration and refinement of the poses
go deeper into your breath and mind
open up space in the entire body
relieve back pain due to constriction, tension, and gravity
You’ll leave feeling confident, lengthened, strengthened, and most importantly, rejuvenated in your mind.
