Ahara (food)

You will thrive eating tons of cooling and fresh foods that are not spicy (sorry, we know you love the spice!). Overly oily, fried, and cream-based foods are not your bff. Fresh herbs should be used abundantly.

  • Emphasize: Basmati rice, berries, bitter melon, coconut, cucumber, daikon radish, dark leafy greens, egg whites, lime, mozzarella, paneer, peas, pineapple, spinach, tofu, walnuts, wheat, zucchini.

  • Best fresh herbs: basil, cilantro, dill, fennel fronds, hibiscus, mint.


Asana (yoga poses)

You will benefit from a moderately paced practice that emphasizes twisting, spinal flexibility, and hip opening. And for god’s sake, please, no hot yoga!
